Community Guidelines

RideFinder is built for riders to discover roads, share routes, exchange useful information, and connect around better motorcycle adventures. These guidelines explain the standards that apply to community features.

Effective: September 11, 2026

Core rule: Help other riders. Do not use RideFinder to endanger, harass, deceive, exploit, or expose another person.

1. Where These Guidelines Apply

These Community Guidelines apply to community features in RideFinder, including public profiles, shared routes, route reviews, ratings, photos, comments, points of interest, ride information, messages, groups, and other user-submitted content if those features are made available.

2. Be Respectful

Riders may disagree about bikes, roads, riding styles, gear, brands, routes, or almost anything else. Disagreement is allowed. Abuse is not.

You may not use RideFinder to engage in:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation
  • Targeted abuse or repeated unwanted contact
  • Hateful or demeaning attacks against people based on protected characteristics
  • Sexual harassment or unwanted sexual content directed at another person
  • Encouraging others to target or harass a user

3. Do Not Promote Dangerous Riding

RideFinder is a motorcycle platform, but community features are not a place to pressure others into unsafe riding or to celebrate conduct that creates an unreasonable risk to riders or the public.

Content may be removed if it meaningfully promotes or coordinates:

  • Street racing on public roads
  • Reckless riding through traffic
  • Intentional evasion of law enforcement
  • Dangerous stunts on public roads where others may be placed at risk
  • Riding into known closures, emergency scenes, or prohibited areas
  • Challenges that encourage riders to exceed their ability or ignore road conditions

Sharing a difficult road, track event, riding technique, or safety discussion is not automatically prohibited. Context matters. The issue is content that meaningfully encourages unsafe or unlawful conduct.

4. Respect Road Access and Private Property

Do not knowingly publish routes or instructions designed to send riders onto private property, closed roads, prohibited trails, restricted government areas, or other locations where public access is not permitted.

If a route's access status changes, riders should update or report the route where possible.

5. Protect Location Privacy

Motorcycle routes and ride data can reveal sensitive information, including a rider's home, workplace, routine, or current location.

You may not:

  • Publish another person's precise home location without permission
  • Share another rider's live location without authorization
  • Use route or location information to stalk, intimidate, or target someone
  • Post private addresses, phone numbers, or other sensitive personal information to harass someone

Before publicly sharing a route, consider whether its start or end point reveals a private residence or another sensitive location.

6. Do Not Impersonate Others

Do not impersonate another rider, business, motorcycle club, public figure, organization, or MouseMason/RideFinder representative in a deceptive manner.

Fan, commentary, parody, or unofficial accounts should make their nature reasonably clear where confusion would otherwise be likely.

7. No Spam, Scams, or Fraud

RideFinder community features may not be used for:

  • Spam or repetitive unsolicited promotion
  • Phishing or credential theft
  • Fraudulent giveaways, sales, or payment requests
  • Fake reviews or coordinated rating manipulation
  • Malware, suspicious downloads, or deceptive links
  • Artificial engagement or automated account abuse

8. Authentic Route and Review Information

Do not knowingly post false road conditions, fake closures, fabricated hazards, or intentionally misleading route information that could put another rider at risk.

Opinions are welcome, but reviews and route descriptions should reflect your genuine experience or a reasonable basis for the information you provide.

9. Photos and Media

Only upload photos, videos, graphics, or other media that you have the right to share.

Do not upload intimate imagery without consent, content that unlawfully invades someone's privacy, or material that infringes another person's copyright or trademark rights.

10. Illegal Content and Activity

You may not use RideFinder to facilitate or promote criminal activity, trafficking, theft, violence, fraud, or other unlawful conduct.

Discussions about laws, incidents, safety, enforcement, or news are not prohibited merely because they relate to illegal activity. Context and intent matter.

11. Threats and Violence

Credible threats, calls for violence, or content that appears intended to coordinate physical harm may be removed and may result in account restrictions.

Where appropriate, information may be preserved or disclosed in response to valid legal process or urgent safety concerns as described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Minors

RideFinder is not intended for children under 13. Content that sexually exploits, endangers, grooms, or otherwise abuses minors is strictly prohibited.

Serious child-safety concerns may be reported to appropriate authorities where required by law.

13. Intellectual Property

Respect copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual-property rights. Do not copy or upload content that you do not have the right to use.

If RideFinder introduces a formal copyright-reporting process, instructions will be published through the app or MouseMason website.

14. Commercial Activity

Reasonable recommendations and rider-to-rider discussion may be allowed, but users may not flood community spaces with repetitive advertising, deceptive promotions, affiliate spam, or unauthorized commercial solicitation.

RideFinder may introduce separate rules for business accounts, sponsored content, events, or marketplace features if those services are added later.

15. Reporting Content and Users

RideFinder intends to provide tools that allow users to report inappropriate content or accounts. Reports should be made in good faith.

Knowingly filing false or abusive reports to harass another rider may itself violate these guidelines.

Until in-app reporting is available, community concerns may be sent to support@mousemasondigital.com.

16. Blocking and Personal Safety

RideFinder intends to provide blocking or similar controls where community interaction makes them appropriate. Blocking may limit another user's ability to interact with or view certain parts of your profile or content.

If you believe someone poses an immediate threat, contact local emergency services or law enforcement rather than relying solely on an app report or block.

17. Moderation and Enforcement

MouseMason may review reports and take reasonable action when content or conduct violates these guidelines, the RideFinder Terms of Service, applicable law, or platform requirements.

Actions may include:

  • Removing or limiting content
  • Reducing the visibility of content
  • Issuing warnings
  • Restricting features
  • Temporarily suspending an account
  • Permanently terminating an account
  • Preserving information where legally necessary

Enforcement may consider severity, context, intent, risk, previous violations, and whether conduct is repeated.

18. Appeals

Where practical, RideFinder may allow users to request review of certain moderation decisions. Appeal procedures may vary depending on the type of decision, applicable law, and the severity of the conduct.

19. Community Safety Is Shared

RideFinder cannot inspect every road, verify every route, or review every community contribution before another user sees it. Riders should use independent judgment and report serious safety issues or abuse.

20. Changes to These Guidelines

These guidelines may change as RideFinder adds new community features or as legal, safety, or platform requirements evolve. Material updates may be communicated through the app, website, email, or another reasonable method.

21. Related Policies

These Community Guidelines supplement the RideFinder Terms of Service, RideFinder Privacy Policy, and RideFinder Safety & Navigation Disclaimer.

22. Contact

Questions or reports relating to RideFinder community features may be sent to support@mousemasondigital.com.

Before public community launch: RideFinder's actual reporting, blocking, moderation, appeals, and user-safety tools should be tested against these published guidelines so the product and policy match.
