1. Motorcycle Riding Involves Serious Risk
Riding a motorcycle can involve serious injury, death, property damage, changing weather, limited visibility, road debris, mechanical problems, wildlife, traffic, construction, and other hazards.
RideFinder cannot determine whether a particular route, road, maneuver, destination, or riding condition is safe for you, your motorcycle, your experience level, or current conditions. You are responsible for deciding whether to begin, continue, alter, or end a ride.
2. Routes Are Suggestions, Not Safety Guarantees
RideFinder may recommend routes based on factors such as distance, duration, curves, scenery, road type, highways, tolls, destinations, rider preferences, community data, or automated route generation.
A suggested route may contain roads that are closed, temporarily blocked, privately owned, restricted, seasonally inaccessible, unpaved, gravel, damaged, flooded, under construction, unsuitable for motorcycles, or otherwise unsafe or unlawful to use.
Inclusion of a road in RideFinder does not mean that MouseMason has inspected, approved, or certified that road.
3. AI Ride Builder
AI Ride Builder and other automated RideFinder features may create or recommend routes using software, mapping information, rider-selected preferences, and other available data.
Automated recommendations can be wrong. They do not replace local knowledge, official road information, rider training, common sense, or a physical inspection of current conditions.
4. Turn-by-Turn Navigation
Navigation instructions may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate. GPS positioning can drift, route recalculation can fail, and map information can be outdated.
Never make an unsafe or illegal maneuver just to follow a RideFinder instruction. If you miss a turn, continue safely and allow the route to recalculate or stop in a safe location before making changes.
5. Do Not Ride Distracted
Do not type, search, change settings, review detailed screens, or perform other distracting interactions with RideFinder while actively operating a motorcycle or vehicle.
Configure routes, destinations, navigation preferences, and sharing settings before riding whenever practical. If you need to make a change that requires attention, pull over legally and safely first.
6. Road Closures, Restrictions, and Private Property
Road access can change without warning. A road displayed in RideFinder may later become restricted, gated, closed, private, permit-only, seasonally closed, or otherwise inaccessible.
Riders must obey posted signs, gates, local laws, land-use restrictions, construction controls, emergency closures, and private-property rights.
7. Surface Type and Motorcycle Suitability
Map or community information about pavement, gravel, dirt, road quality, or surface type may be incomplete or inaccurate. Conditions may also change because of weather, construction, maintenance, erosion, debris, or other causes.
A road that is technically passable may still be inappropriate for a particular motorcycle, tire, load, rider skill level, or weather condition.
8. Weather, Traffic, and Hazard Information
Weather forecasts, alerts, traffic information, road reports, and other hazard data may come from third-party providers and may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate.
When weather or road conditions could affect your safety, use official weather, transportation, emergency-management, and law-enforcement sources in addition to RideFinder.
9. Offline Maps
Offline map data reflects the information available when the map was downloaded or last updated. It may not contain newer closures, construction, businesses, restrictions, route changes, or hazards.
Riders using offline navigation should take additional precautions when current information is important.
10. Community Routes and User-Submitted Information
Routes, reviews, comments, photos, points of interest, road descriptions, or other information shared by RideFinder users may be inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, subjective, or inappropriate for your ride.
Community popularity, ratings, or recommendations do not constitute a safety certification.
11. GPX and Imported Routes
Imported GPX files or routes obtained from another person, website, device, or service may contain outdated or unsafe routing information. RideFinder does not inspect every imported route for legal access or current conditions.
Review imported routes before riding them.
12. Ride Tracking and Statistics
RideFinder may estimate or record distance, duration, route path, location, speed-related information, stops, or other ride statistics.
These values may contain GPS or sensor errors and should not be relied upon as certified speed measurements, legal evidence, accident reconstruction data, or a replacement for required motorcycle instruments.
13. Live Location Sharing
Live-location sharing depends on device permissions, GPS, internet or cellular connectivity, battery power, device health, and third-party infrastructure.
A shared location may be delayed, stale, inaccurate, or unavailable. Do not assume that another person can always see your current position simply because location sharing has been enabled.
14. Emergency and SOS Features
Emergency or SOS features may fail because of device damage, battery loss, lack of cellular or internet service, GPS failure, app permissions, operating-system restrictions, third-party outages, or other factors.
In an emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service directly whenever you are able to do so.
15. Device Mounting and Audio Instructions
Riders are responsible for using any phone, headset, display, mounting system, or audio accessory lawfully and safely. Mounting hardware should not obstruct required vehicle controls, instruments, or visibility.
Local laws concerning mobile-device use, headphones, helmet communications, screens, and mounted devices vary. You are responsible for following the rules that apply where you ride.
16. No Professional Riding, Mechanical, Medical, or Legal Advice
RideFinder does not provide professional motorcycle training, mechanical inspection, medical advice, legal advice, or emergency-response advice.
Information in the app or community should not be treated as a substitute for qualified professionals when professional assistance is appropriate.
17. Third-Party Maps and Services
RideFinder may depend on third-party map, routing, weather, traffic, geocoding, communications, platform, and cloud services. Those services may experience errors, outages, delays, or data inaccuracies.
RideFinder cannot guarantee the accuracy or uninterrupted availability of independent third-party services.
18. Your Judgment Comes First
RideFinder is intended to support a ride, not control it. Conditions can change faster than digital information. Use your senses, experience, training, local knowledge, and the actual conditions around you.
If a road looks unsafe, inaccessible, illegal, or beyond your ability, do not continue simply because RideFinder displays the route.
19. Relationship to the RideFinder Terms
This Safety & Navigation Disclaimer supplements the RideFinder Terms of Service. If you use RideFinder, both documents apply together with the applicable privacy notices and platform terms.
