RideFinder Privacy

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how RideFinder collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use the RideFinder mobile application, website features, and related services.

Effective: September 11, 2026

Privacy principle: RideFinder is designed around location-based motorcycle features. We intend to collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide those features, operate the service, protect users, and improve RideFinder.

1. Who Operates RideFinder

RideFinder is developed and operated by MouseMason Digital (“MouseMason,” “RideFinder,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

This policy applies to the RideFinder application, RideFinder-related website features, and services that link to this policy.

2. Information We Collect

The information RideFinder collects depends on the features you choose to use.

Account Information

If you create a RideFinder account, we may collect information such as:

  • Name or display name
  • Email address
  • Username
  • Profile photo, if you choose to provide one
  • Account preferences
  • Motorcycle information you voluntarily add
  • Rider profile information, achievements, badges, or statistics

3. Location Information

Location is a core part of RideFinder. Depending on the features you enable and permissions you grant, RideFinder may process:

  • Approximate location
  • Precise GPS location
  • Starting location and destination
  • Current ride position
  • Route location and route history
  • Recorded ride paths
  • Saved locations and points of interest
  • Location associated with shared rides or routes

Background Location

Certain RideFinder features, such as active navigation, ride tracking, route recording, live-location sharing, or safety-related features, may require location access while the app is running in the background.

RideFinder will request the appropriate device permission before accessing background location. You may disable location permissions through your device settings, although some features may then stop working properly.

Advertising

RideFinder does not intend to use precise location information for targeted advertising.

4. Ride and Route Information

When you plan, save, record, or navigate rides, we may process information such as:

  • Routes you create or save
  • Routes generated by RideFinder
  • Completed and upcoming rides
  • Ride distance and duration
  • Route stops and destinations
  • Scenic-road and curvy-road preferences
  • Highway and toll preferences
  • Points of interest
  • GPX files you choose to import or export
  • Route ratings, reviews, and ride statistics

This information may be associated with your RideFinder account when you are signed in.

5. AI Ride Builder

RideFinder may use automated systems to generate or recommend routes based on information such as starting location, desired distance or duration, scenic-road preferences, curvy-road preferences, highway preferences, toll preferences, destinations, and optional stops.

Automated route suggestions are provided for convenience and are not guarantees about road safety, road legality, road availability, weather, traffic, or current road conditions.

6. Navigation Information

If you use turn-by-turn navigation, RideFinder may process location and route information to:

  • Determine your position
  • Provide navigation instructions
  • Estimate distance or travel time
  • Detect route deviation
  • Recalculate a route
  • Display nearby roads or points of interest

7. Ride Tracking

If you choose to record a ride, RideFinder may collect or calculate:

  • GPS coordinates
  • Distance traveled
  • Ride duration
  • Speed-related information
  • Route path and stops
  • Ride start and end times
  • Ride statistics

8. Live Location Sharing

If you activate live-location sharing, your location may be made available to the people or recipients you choose for the duration of the sharing session.

You should only share your location with people you trust. You may stop live-location sharing using the controls provided by RideFinder.

9. Safety and Emergency Features

RideFinder may provide optional tools such as:

  • Emergency contacts
  • Emergency SOS features
  • Live-location sharing
  • Ride-status sharing
  • Safety notifications

These features are supplemental only. RideFinder is not an emergency-response service and does not replace 911, emergency medical services, law enforcement, roadside assistance, or other emergency services.

10. Community and User Content

If RideFinder includes community or social features, you may choose to submit content such as:

  • Public profile information
  • Routes and route recommendations

Information you intentionally publish through community features may be visible to other RideFinder users. Do not publish information you do not want others to see.

13. Purchases and Subscriptions

RideFinder may offer optional paid services, including RideFinder Pro. Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are generally processed by the applicable app-store provider.

RideFinder does not receive your full payment-card number from Apple or Google. We may receive transaction-related information such as subscription status, product purchased, transaction identifiers, renewal status, and expiration status.
